Even though I didn't use the coffee and tea facilities the additional biscuits was a nice touch. No TV was a surprise but it was something I had taken for granted and it doesn't say it had a TV so my mistake there. Street parking again rather than "a free parking space" was a surprise as well but it worked out OK. Room was nice though and I was next door to a really nice bathroom. Overall the room offered a pleasant night so no complaints.

Great location, perfect for a single person, who didn’t need a shower

The room was ideal for our holiday and it only took a short walk to the city. It and the bathroom were clean with plenty of tea and coffee available. The on street parking wasn't a problem either.

Excellent value for money . Clean and comfortable room with tea / coffee provided . Spotless , well maintained bathroom . Quiet location about a 15/20 minute picturesque riverside walk away from the city centre . Easy to follow check in and out instructions provided and flexible with times which was helpful .

Excellent communication with the owners, clean & cosy room felt like home from home, beautiful bathroom, free on-street parking, quiet area, price of room very reasonable

Kath 8.0

We liked the comfortable beds, nice armchairs and space to spread out! The en-suite bathrooms were excellent, the showers were top notch! We had a hiccup with our entry code and the owners were very helpful even though it was very late. We also appreciated the easy walk into town and the free on-street parking.

Lovely little room, perfect for a sightseeing trip to York. 20 min walk to the city centre and ten minutes to the railway museum.

Good location for price

This is a single room with en-suite toilet, in the back yard of a terraced house. Access is through a gated communal alley-way and back gate. A lock-box holds the keys. The room is 15 to 20 minutes walk from the station, and city centre in a quiet residential area. It is very convenient for th station and the National Railway Museum. The room is comfortable for the single travelleler, with tea and coffee facilities. The only downside is the shower is in the main part of the house, and that has to be accessed from the front of the house, and not the rear door.

Easy to access the room, good friendly communication from the owners. Clean and tidy and well organised.
