First, let me say that I am a regular guest at the Sofitel and know it very well. This time, however, my stay started on a disappointing note (without giving the details). That said, once I spoke with the Front Office Manager, Marine, everything changed. It wasn’t about the request itself but rather her professionalism, confidence and extremely pleasant approach that truly made the difference. She was the main reason I ended up enjoying my stay this time, to say the least. Room service was quick and friendly, and the extremely helpful bellboys as well as the gentleman at the door welcoming guests were very warm, professional and genuinely nice. Their hospitality, along with Marine and the excellent location of the hotel are the reasons I give a high rating.
