I was first time using this hostel. I liked the Oases decor and having curtains for privacy.

The staff are really friendly, helpful and competent. The building is large and although my dorm was not huge for the number of beds it felt spacious enough and also light enough. The beds have sockets and curtains for privacy. The showers are really nice and hot and they are solidly separated, not cubicles. The common room is very small but it’s much better than only having the bar. It also has a microwave and kettle, which are much better than no kitchen at all. The adjacent terrace has a great view of the Shard. It has checkout at 11, which is much more civilized than 10. I paid £13 a night so my judgments are based on that. It was really good value for money. I’ve stayed in hundreds of hostels on four continents and am just mentioning this to show that I have experienced every type and really know what’s reasonable to expect in any circumstances.
