Fantastic location

Comfortable and attractive

Firstly what a great location and a great stay. The staff were friendly and attentive, the rooms were great - well insulated from traffic noise (we heard nothing from outside) and the beds were comfy. We ate lunch in Apero and menu offered a good choice, plus they catered for my awkward dietary needs without batting an eyelid. Breakfast menu was also extensive, although my one quibble is the cost of a glass of juice in what was the tiniest of glasses. That is the only thing I can find fault with. Thank you for a fabulous stay.

I think The Ampersand Hotel is becoming my favorite hotel in London! My friend and I stayed here for one night after our Cotswolds trip and this was the perfect option for a quick day in London. I love how the hotel is right across from the South Kensington Station, super convenient if coming to/from Paddington Station or Heathrow, and also close to numerous bus stops. The staff was as lovely as ever, especially the gentlemen at the front door! They were so kind! The room itself was beautiful, very clean, and the perfect size for two people for a night. We also loved the heated floors in the bathroom :).

For starters, this is a very beautiful building. The staff was polite and knowledgeable. We went to the restaurant once and just for wine and appetizers and left very happy. The bathroom is very roomy and modern.

Location, quietness, cleanliness

Ideally located to various tube lines and museums.

We arrived early and understandably our room was not ready, however staff was very friendly. We came back later that afternoon and the staff had upgraded our room. The Ampersand is a nice boutique hotel with a welcoming bar downstairs. They take good care of you. The room we stayed in was wonderful. The location is perfect for a London visit, just meters away from South Ken tube station and the French school and of course all the musea. Plenty of little coffee shops all around with croisants.

Position was fantastic for museums. Hotel is quirky and fab. Staff on reception are excellent. Comfiest bed ever.

Great location and the bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was very generous. There was a well stocked fridge, and nice tea and coffee making supplies. The room was very quiet.
