We stayed two nights to visit Greenwich. The Clarendon stands facing Blackheath, half an hour's walk from Greenwich but there is a good bus service that stops right outside. We thought to hotel generally was very smart and comfortable and the breakfast was first class - huge choice and good quality. The staff were friendly and the bed enormous. All in all considering the location we thought it very good value for money.

Great service and genuine exceptional hospitality from all the staff... The hotel is very clean and everything is set up properly to have a great stay... Great family rooms that allow a family up to 5 to stay in family suites very comfortably... The breakfast is also something, big up also to breakfast staff always smiling and doing everything to make you feel welcome and at ease

Lovely hotel . Staff were very friendly and couldnt do enough for us. The hotel was very Clean. Excellent breakfast Hotel was very good value for money . Good transport links. The bus stop was just across the road and the train station approx 5 - 10 mins walk away.

I love the Clarendon I've stayed several times over the last 20 years and always really enjoy my stay. The position of the hotel is wonderful. Right opposote the heath, 10 mins walk from Greenwich Park and then around 15 mins through the park to Greenwich and the Thames. Blackheath station is 5 or 6 minutes walk from the hotel from where a train to central London is 20 minutes or London Bridge is less than 15 mins. There are also bus stops right outside the hotel from where you can take a bus to various parts of London including the O2 and the ABBA venue. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable and well staffed and the food is freshly cooked and really good value. The breakfast buffet is well stocked and very good quality and the service is attentive without being too fussy.

The restaurant is bright and airy, whilst the decor is a little dated -it’s in good condition and clean. The staff are all really helpful.

Lovely friendly traditional hotel with nice staff and we had a large room overlooking the heath. Excellent value for money. We liked the location near Blackheath village. A much nicer option than similarly priced chain budget hotels. We found parking easy.
