Honestly I loved this place, however it does require some serious renovations. I really loved the building, the history behind it, the staff and the location. The room was spacious, had everything we needed and everything was so comfortable. I really enjoyed our room even if it was on the 4th floor. I would stay here again for sure, I just really want you to fix this place up.

I was very impressed with the Colonnade. Perfect Location and beautiful area, nice staff, lovely restaurant downstairs. Also fantastic value for money. I will definitely return. Thank you very much to all the staff for making my stay so pleasant.

Room clean - spacious and quiet overnight. Staff were very jolly - food in the Resturant was very tasty the coffe was really good as were the sweet treats with the coffee

It's such a cosy hotel. A little old but that's part of the charm. The bed was great. Breakfast was standard, nothing fancy but quite alright. It felt like home. I loved it and will definitely return. The bad reviews must be from people who like modern shiny all white hotels. They just booked the wrong hotel. You get what you see from the pictures.
