About This Hotel

The George Hotel is a 16th-century coaching inn on the High Street, in the centre of the historic market town of Wallingford. Oxford and Reading are each about 12 miles away.

Extended with care, the hotel now has 39 rooms. There is a restaurant, a bar, a shared lounge and a sun terrace, plus room service and in-room breakfast. Three function rooms take up to 120 people for meetings and celebrations, and civil ceremonies can be held here, with Castle Gardens behind.
