About This Hotel
The Headlands sits right on the Blackpool seafront, offering a traditional yet comfortable getaway for families, couples and groups who want easy access to the coast. The property is set next to generous garden spaces, creating a calm contrast to the lively promenade. With 41 guest rooms across a compact building, The Headlands balances a welcoming, intimate feel with practical attention to detail. It is a three star property that emphasizes value and location, making it a solid choice for visitors who want to be within a short stroll of Blackpool’s famous attractions while enjoying a peaceful base to return to after a day by the sea. Location is a clear strength here. The hotel is just a five minute walk from Pleasure Beach, Sandcastle Waterpark and South Pier, placing you at the heart of Blackpool’s family friendly seaside scene. The New South Promenade setting means you are close to the action but still able to retreat to quieter, garden facing vantage points when you wish. On site there is free private parking, a welcome perk in a city where parking can be limited, and guests can reach the promenade and coast with comfort and ease. The address, 611 613 New South Promenade, places you within easy reach of the promenade’s charms while keeping the hotel pleasantly tucked away from the busiest thoroughfares. The surrounding area is a mix of coastal views and urban amenities. The property itself is seafront facing, so guests can expect sea breeze and coastal scents to accompany their stay. While the hotel does not list a pool, the proximity to the beach makes a day by the water a straightforward option, and the seafront location is complemented by nearby parks and open spaces ideal for a relaxed morning stroll or an early evening walk along the shore. A number of photos in the hotel gallery show sea view perspectives and rooms designed to capture the iconic coastal outlook, underscoring the appeal of staying here for travelers chasing a sea side escape. Inside The Headlands the focus stays on guest comfort and practical convenience. The property offers 41 rooms that are well suited to short breaks and weekend getaways. The bedrooms and beds play a central role in the experience, with multiple images highlighting comfortable bedding and inviting sleeping spaces. While renovation specifics are not provided, the consistent presentation across the room imagery suggests a neat and cohesive interior standard designed for a restful stay. Some rooms are showcased with sea views, giving guests the option to wake up to the coastline if they choose a room on the front of the building. In any case, all rooms are designed to feel homely and straightforward rather than overly elaborate, aligning with a value driven seaside stay. When it comes to meals and drinks, The Headlands offers dining options housed in an on site setting that includes a dedicated dining area. The presence of a restaurant or places to eat is reinforced by the gallery tags, and breakfast is highlighted among the experiences guests can expect in the dining space. This means you can start the day with a straightforward breakfast service before heading out to enjoy the beaches or local attractions. The dining experience is complemented by a lounge and bar area where guests can unwind with a drink after a day on the coast. The hotel also caters to families and groups with practical policies designed to ease planning. The property welcomes children of any age and provides guidance around cots and extra beds. There is no capacity for extra beds beyond what is allowed, and the maximum occupancy per room is five guests, which makes it suitable for small families or a group of friends. Several family oriented policies outline how children can stay free when using existing beds or cots, and there is usually flexibility around cot availability, subject to availability. For guests traveling with little ones, these policies help clarify what to expect in terms of space and bedding arrangements during a stay. WiFi is available across all areas at The Headlands, ensuring easy connectivity whether you are catching up on work, sharing photos from the day’s adventures, or planning tomorrow’s itinerary. Free private parking on site is another win for travelers who want to minimize the hassle of a city stay, with the caveat that reservations for the parking are not possible. This combination of seafront access, garden surroundings, practical room options and reliable amenities makes The Headlands a dependable base for exploring Blackpool without losing the sense of a seaside escape. Entertainment and relaxation are practical and accessible here. The property features a communal lounge and TV room, as well as a lounge or bar where guests can gather for conversation or a quiet drink. Game rooms and other common spaces are visible in the gallery, underscoring a family friendly atmosphere with activities that suit both children and adults. The proximity to Pleasure Beach and other top attractions means you can tailor your day from gentle coastal walks to full on theme park adventures, all with a comfortable place to return to at day’s end. This hotel is ideal for holidaymakers who value location above all else combined with straightforward comfort. It is particularly well suited to families looking for a practical seaside base from which to explore Blackpool’s coastline and amusements, as well as couples or small groups who want a simple, well positioned option near the coast. If you want a seafront stay with gardens nearby, easy access to major attractions, free parking and reliable WiFi, The Headlands provides a confident, steady choice that aligns with smart travel planning and a budget oriented approach to a classic British seaside break.
