The breakfast was excellent 20 out of 20, and Debbie and Jason were the most welcoming and lovely people you could have stayed with - we will certainly return to The Kensington.

Linda 10.0

The friendly welcome from the hosts with tea and homemade cupcakes on arrival and all the little details that they have done Debbie and Jason definitely go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and your stay comfortable. They have great local knowledge of all the best eating places. Their breakfast menu is the most extensive I've seen and it was cooked to perfection along with the home made preserves . We had booked to see Rhod Gilbert at the Spa but unfortunately he was ill and cancelled and we only found out en route so we were feeling deflated but after such a lovely stay at the Kensington we left happy and relaxed.

I believe Debbie and Jason are possibly the nicest hosts I’ve ever met. Nothing was too much trouble. We were greeted with tea and homemade cakes which were delicious. Our bags were transported to our room which after a long journey was appreciated. The room was clean and very comfortable. The shower was hot and toiletries were provided. The hospitality tray was amazing with yet more homemade cake. Fresh milk and water were also provided in a fridge that was in our room. The breakfast was out of this world with so much choice and everything made fresh. The preserves were homemade and delicious. We would definitely stay again if we visit Scarborough and would definitely recommend The Kensington. A BIG BIG thank you. 🥂

Very friendly hosts, nice room, comfortable beds, decent shower and the breakfast is spot on. Nothing to complain about. We even got to meet Kevin the greyhound as we're greyhound owners ourselves :-) We wouldn't hesitate to book again when next in Scarborough

Debbie and Jason were the most welcoming of hosts and made you feel at ease as soon as you stepped into The Kensington. Anything you needed was no trouble to them at all. The rooms were clean and comfortable with little delicious homemade treats, and the breakfast each morning was outstanding. The location for us was spot on due to being a 10 minute walk to the Open Air Theatre. Would highly recommend and will definitely be visiting again.
