The New Inn Motel

The room and bathroom was exceptionally clean. Well stocked with towels, tea, coffee etc. A really lovely accommodation

1.No stairs to lug our cases up. 2. We could park just outside our room. 3. Although it was a motel room we were able to use the fridge, cutlery and crockery from the staff store room. 4. The New Inn Cantonese restaurant was just in front of the motel - very handy . 5. The community shop was only a “stone’s throw” away.

Lovely owners, Paul and Carolyn. They have done a great job with the accommodation. Amenities on hand etc. Nice location. 10/10

Very clean, comfortable bed, tea and coffee, usb charging plug sockets and spacious. Quiet location.

Straightforward accommodation. Good facilities. Clean. Adjacent to the New Inn which has an excellent Cantonese restaurant.

The Motel is in a lovely quiet village. The accomodation was clean and tidy and very well presented. The stone path leading up to the rooms were very pretty and had lovely flowers outside, also benches and chairs outside the rooms which was a nice touch. Met Carolyn once and she seemed very nice and helped us with connecting to the internet. The room was nice and cosy, the bathroom was a good size and it was pretty peaceful. There was a fridge in the staff room which was great if you were staying for a few day's as the Motel doesn't serve food. It was a good stay.

The owners are lovely nothing to much trouble the room is lovely. Furnishings are beautiful.

Very comfortable, clean, very quiet

Beautiful rooms and the friendliest of hosts, (especially Kenny 🐶)

Room was spacious. The clothes cupboard is excellent. The location is great. Very close to busstop. Spacious bathroom with excellent water preasure and heat. Wifi was great because there is no mobile signal.

Really nice comfortable rooms. Tucked away behind a good Chinese restaurant. The hotel is run by a lovely family who can't do enough for you.

very welcoming when we arrived, room was lovely (loved the wallpaper) plenty of coffee and biscuits etc. room felt like home from home 🏡 very quiet and safe place to stay and will book again xx

Great location for where we needed to be. Comfortable room and beds. Clean and lovely family who run it. Thank you

Lovely room close to lovely Cantonese restaurant, not far from York

It was very clean and comfortable.

Nicely presented rooms, quiet location, friendly staff. Plenty of milk and tea/coffee, good guest information.

Clean and comfortable accommodation. Casual and relaxed atmosphere. Comfortable bed, casual chair and a desk space for working at, if you want to. Easy drive into York. No restaurant on site so plan your eating. Mobile phone signal poor but the FREE WiFi is quick - use WhatsApp to keep in touch with home. I recommend this place without any reservation.
