About This Hotel

The Pembroke is a welcoming family run guesthouse located just 75 metres from Blackpool’s famous Promenade. Set at 17 Banks Street in the Fy1 1RN area, this intimate seven-room property preserves a homely, personal touch that larger hotels often miss. Visually simple on the outside, the interior offers a warm, friendly atmosphere where guests are greeted by name and treated like part of the family. The location puts you within easy reach of the coast, so a stroll along the strand is a natural part of any stay. Step outside and you are already in the heart of Blackpool’s seafront energy. The Promenade runs directly past the doorstep, inviting long walks, sea air and beach views. After a day on the sand, the short climb back to Banks Street feels like returning to a cosy base camp rather than a hotel. The Pembroke’s compact size means service feels personal and attentive, with staff ready to help you plan another day by the shore. Inside, seven cosy en suite rooms offer straightforward comfort after a day by the sea. Each room includes an en suite bathroom, free Wi-Fi and essential amenities to make your stay easy. Decor is simple, and the focus is on clean, well cared-for spaces where you can unwind without fanfare. Those who value a low-key atmosphere will appreciate the absence of pretension and the presence of thoughtful, practical touches. Freshly cooked breakfasts are a highlight at The Pembroke, setting guests up for a day of exploration. The morning meal is prepared with care, giving you a hearty but unfussy start that suits early departures and leisurely mornings alike. With the Promenade on your doorstep, mornings can be as relaxed or as brisk as you wish, and a dependable breakfast helps you decide how to map your day ahead. As a family-run establishment, The Pembroke is naturally well suited to families and groups who want a genuine seaside experience without the formality of a larger hotel. Children of any age are welcome, and the intimate size of the property makes it easy to keep an eye on younger guests while you unwind. The seven-room setup supports a comfortable, connected stay where everyone can still have their own space. Several practical policies help keep things straightforward. There is no capacity for extra beds or cots, and the maximum number of guests is five per booking, which helps keep rooms comfortable and uncluttered. Pets are not allowed, which some travelers value for allergy considerations and quiet nights. Wi-Fi remains free of charge throughout the property, ensuring you can stay connected without worrying about data costs. Check-in runs from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a flexible window that allows for late arrivals if planned in advance. Check-out is from 10:00 to 10:30 am, which gives you a relaxed morning before you depart. The Pembroke may be small, but it offers a respectful rhythm that lets you settle in and feel at home quickly. While The Pembroke does not advertise additional facilities beyond its guest rooms, the location itself is a draw for visitors who want a simple, authentic Blackpool experience. The property sits within easy reach of transport links, with Blackpool North Station just a short walk away for day trips along the coast or connections to more distant destinations. For guests who prize value and a genuine seaside stay, this is a straightforward choice. In short, The Pembroke is ideal for families, couples, and solo travelers who want a quiet, affordable base near the sea with dependable service and a warm welcome. Whether your plans include beach days, strolls on the Promenade, or exploring Blackpool’s historic shoreline, this tiny but inviting B&B helps you start and end each day with comfort and ease.
