The cooked breakfast was fabulous and served with great care. My room was comfortable and clean, and so was the seperate bathroom. The location was ideal and a perfect distance to town
The owner is lovely and we could leave our cases while waiting for the room to be ready
Quiet, close to town, friendly.
The guesthouse was lovely, the bed was amazing I had the best sleep I had in a long time. The rooms were clean and cosy with plenty of tea along supplies. The breakfasts were fantastic with plenty of choice. Now the owners couldn’t do enough for us so welcoming and friendly. He even put and extra hole in my husbands belt for him, above and beyond. Will definitely be staying again. 5*
Very friendly host. Comfortable bed and great location being 5 minutes to the centre of York.
Breakfast superb and such a friendly attentive host. The room was beautifully furnished with plenty of drawer and wardrobe space. Biscuits replaced daily was a nice extra touch. Choice to have the room made up daily if desired along with fresh towels. Great location close to the beautiful museum gardens and town centre with loads of shops and eating places. We particularly loved listening to the very talented buskers and also the river cruise.
Homely, and so close to the city, lovely walk along the river Bed really comfortable and a scrummy breakfast Spiros the owner was very welcoming

We have just had a lovely stay here. The location is perfect, very quiet , with parking outside. Only a 10 minute walk through the museum gardens to the city centre. Spiros was a very attentive host and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious too - kept us going for most of the day! Room very cosy and comfortable - would definitely recommend 😊
