Great pub close to Kennington tube.
Its location was brilliant for our visit to the Oval. The food was very good and you receive a discount as a guest.
Good facilities and location for the price
The option to watch live comedy
The room was a good size and had a great bathroom. All the staff would go the extra mile for you. Chris, Chef and all the staff were exceptional. Meals were great and good value at 30% off.
Lovely place.
Very nice comfortable room, spacious bathroom and nice tea/coffee.
Great value being out of centre of town but everything within easy reach by train, bus and walking. Large comfortable rooms, mine had a bath which was great after lots of walking. I would stay here again. Discount provided when eating in the pub downstairs. We had no noise issues at all.
Great location to the oval cricket ground. Comfortable bed, good pub and roasts were excellent.
Location was perfect. Food in pub was fantastic and a significant discount was given when staying upstairs.
Stayed for easy access ribeye Oval. L
Friendly staff
Great little find close to the Kennington tube station. Rooms were clean and well equipped and great price for central London. Would stay again.
Perfect location, loved that we had a discount off food in the bar. The food was also so good! The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us. So friendly. Room was comfy, the bed especially. Perfect shower and loved the decor.
Lovely room. Great size and location was excellent. Dinner in the restaurant was great and a 33% discount on food if staying at the hotel.
Nice rooms above a nice pub, close to public transport and close to Battersea Power Station. It is located at a quite busy street, but with closed windows it was ok. The air condition worked fine, the bathroom was spacy and beautiful. The pub looked nice but as there was no breakfast offered we unfortunately cannot rate the food in the pub.

The property advises that bed capacity and cots are limited; there is no capacity for additional beds or cots, and the total number of guests is typically limited to two per stay. Children older than 6 years are welcome; certain policies apply to younger guests and older children, including a potential nightly charge for children using existing beds (for 6–17 years old, £25 per child per night). As always, specific pricing and occupancy details depend on the option chosen at booking, so it’s important to provide accurate ages and the number of children when searching. The Tommyfield Hotel offers a cozy, intimate atmosphere with simple but stylish rooms, where guests can enjoy a sense of history—the site takes its name from a once-vabled market and from the nearby street life that characterizes Kennington.
