Guest Reviews
The room was nicely decorated and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. We were on the third floor and it was very quiet. We slept well. We parked easily on the road outside (at the weekend is free parking).
Lovely hotel - comfortable room & clean
Lovely traditional pub with original features. The room was extremely spacious with lovely decorative touches. Bathroom immaculate with toiletries including conditioner! Fans were provided in the room and the windows opened wide! The staircase to the rooms was clean and had lots of lovely features with beautiful light fittings. Cereal bars were freely available for a quick refuel. Close to some lovely restaurants and the quirky Prince Alfred pub.
Comfortable room, newly refurbished with thoughtful amenities for guests. It is in a great location, a few minutes walk from the tube. Pleasant pub downstairs. Nice laid back feel to the place.
Staff were very friendly, room was nice, very clean, hotel in nice area, very quiet
The pub is absolute beautiful holding all its traditional features (must see). The rooms are very comfortable and done to a high standard. There's no breakfast available but they do provide a good choice of cereal bars.
All our rooms were together. Very spacious. We went out for breakfast to the Peppermint which was very good.

A traditional Victorian property , maintaining lots of original features.
Landlady was very pleasant and helpful. Room was large and comfortable. Some breakfast items were available, even though the booking did not include breakfast.
Excellent service from Sharon on arrival and also from Henry prior to arrival. So helpful and friendly and made to feel very welcome. You couldn’t ask for any better service and local knowledge. Nothing was too much trouble.
