Guest Reviews
•An Amazing and cute cave room •Local and delicious breakfast •Kind staff >When I left my smartphone in the tour bus, one of kind staff members went to the tour company to pick up my phone for me. Thank you so much for everything!
Everything.
We love the experience of sleeping in a cave hotel. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The location is perfect and it was nice to have space outside the room to sit and watch the world go by. Breakfast was very nice and the staff were all so helpful and friendly.
The hotel and rooms were lovely with amazing views of Goreme. The staff were wonderful - helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were amazing - so many wonderful dishes, definitely one of the tastier Turkish breakfast spreads we've had while traveling in Turkey.
Perfect location. Walk to town or up to watch balloons from the lookout.
Very good view of hot air balloons. Cave house style accommodation is a unique experience. Breakfast is very good.
Great location, room was in the cave which was what we wanted. Helpful staff!
Location, the fun cave experience, the wonderful viewing terrace and the staff - the staff were exceptionally helpful and caring.
Beautiful public outdoor balcony with a lovely view over the town. Great to watch the baloons from the accomodation and close to walk up the hill.. Room was nicely decorated with an area to sit by the windows, and we also had our own outdoor space. Comfortable bed and good size bathroom.
The location is amazing. You can see the hot air balloons from the comfort of your bed or balcony. And Onur was very kind to us
We loved the room and of course the view was stunning. Watching the air balloons early morning was amazing. Breakfast also good, just a bit crowded when a large group is booked in.
Super kind guy managing the hotel, we booked several excursions through the hotel and they’ve all been great (hot air balloon, horse riding, green tour). Position with one of the best views of Goreme, including a nice view of hot air balloons in the morning just by opening the door of your room. Good buffet breakfast.
Great location staff very helpful snd polite .
Excellent staff. Very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful location with amazing views without too much of a steep hike. Sweet hotel dog. Family owned.
The room was carved out of the rock, which is what we wanted to experience!!😄 The views were fantastic, especially for the morning hot air balloon mass fly overs, it was close to the centre of town... though quite a steep walk uphill 😄.
We simply loved the experience, it exceeded our expectations. The staff was always attentive and friendly. The view from the terrace is wonderful. Hotel close to bars and restaurants
very friendly and helpful staff, amazing turkey breakfast , located at the heart of the city.
Good hotel with cave rooms n balconies in almost all rooms. View of the hot air balloons in morning is great. Good breakfast
We really enjoyed our stay at Village Cave House. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel itself is really cute and comfortable, there is tea/coffee in the room and you can see the balloons from there in the morning.
The rooms was very clean the personal was friendly and very kind❤️

The village atmosphere adds a human touch to travel, with cafes and small shops that invite you to pause for a Turkish tea and a moment of quiet before the next excursion. While the area is famous for hot air balloon flights at dawn, your base at Village Cave House Hotel gives you a comfortable, authentic vantage point to enjoy the scenery after each day’s adventures. Inside the cave style rooms the design leans into traditional charm with steps of modern comfort. Guests can expect a peaceful ambiance and practical layouts that make the most of the rock carved space. A private balcony or terrace is attached to many rooms, offering you a personal spot to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening sunset with the park’s rugged backdrop as your backdrop. Food and beverage options reflect the intimate village vibe. Breakfast appears in the listing visuals, hinting at a simple yet satisfying morning option that suits early starts for ballooning and extensive sightseeing. The hotel sits within easy reach of Goreme’s dining scene, where guests can explore Turkish flavors and regional specialties at their own pace. Village Cave House Hotel is a true family business, and that warmth comes through in every interaction. On-site private parking is free, removing the typical hassle of parking in a popular tourist town. Free WiFi is available throughout the property, helping families stay connected while you share plans for day trips or balloon rides. The small scale of the hotel means a personal touch and attentive service that larger properties may struggle to provide. The surrounding area invites you to stroll along the lanes, take short hikes in the national park, and experience Cappadocia’s cultural richness without feeling crowded. Relaxation comes naturally in this compact, character filled setting. After a day of valley hikes, you can unwind on the balcony with a cup of tea as the glow fades on the rock formations. The quiet pace of the property makes it easy to recharge for another day of exploration. While there are no large spa facilities on site, the calm atmosphere, friendly staff, and proximity to Cappadocia’s famous sights create a wellness experience of a different kind. For entertainment, the village ambience, nearby viewpoints, and the chance to observe the region’s famous sunrise and ballooning rituals provide memorable moments that stay with you long after you depart. This hotel is ideal for travelers seeking an authentic cave stay in a welcoming, family run setting. It suits couples looking for a romantic, low key break in a striking landscape, families needing a simple and friendly base for day trips, and solo explorers who want a quiet, character filled retreat from more commercial options. The combination of balcony views, direct park scenery, free parking, and reliable WiFi makes Village Cave House Hotel a practical, atmospheric starting point for a Cappadocia adventure. If you want to immerse yourself in a traditional Cappadocian experience while enjoying modern comforts, this cave pension provides a distinctively local home away from home.
