Location
Easy to find. Great value. Room was comfortable, clean and well decorated with everything you needed for your stay.. Great facilities. Close to centre of Whitby. Free parking. Owners were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again. Set in a really lovely building.
Close to the town centre
The closeness to the centre, the lovely clean rooms and also the friendly and welcoming staff 😊
I stayed here twice for one night on each occasion at the start and finish of a walking holiday. Both rooms I had were pleasant and had more than you than I expected in terms of toiletries, quality of towels etc. The hotel description is accurate - the bathrooms in both rooms were ‘en-suite’ size, the shower was hot & powerful though so no complaints. The breakfast is cooked to order and delicious. The hotel is well situated for access to town centre and good value for money. I liked that there were plenty of sockets esp by the bed and that they had USB ports.
Very well priced ...clean warm room ....very comfortable bed ....brilliant location for a visit to whitby in short walking distance to the harbour 7

Staff friendly and helpful 👌
It’s so comfortable and historic and family run x the Staff are so warm and helpful x tea and coffee in the rooms plus shower body wash and body lotion in the shower rooms too ( a lovely touch ) The breakfast was amazing x the cook is 10/10
Breakfast, room and staff were exceptional . We loved our stay.
Ideal for an overnight stay
I paid only £40 for "room only". Free on site car parking. Very comfortable bed. excellent shower with HOT water. Only a short walk to Whitby centre. Room décor a little tired but by no means scruffy. Didn't do breakfast; Mounjaro! would definitely stay again.
Everything, short walk into Whitby, easy walk back. Lovely staff, great location and great price.
A cosy and comfortable room with friendly staff, especially Hazel who went over and above to make sure I had everything I needed. A lovely breakfast each morning with plenty to choose from.
Friendly and welcoming, really well placed within walking distance of all you could wish for!
Spotlessly clean. Lovely comfortable bed with quality linen. Amazing view of the Abbey. Close proximity to the main part of Whitby. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice and quality produce. Very friendly and welcoming staff who were also efficient. Amazing value!
Breakfast was great. Room was comfortable and clean, Shower was excellent, the host was delightful. Very good location in interesting historic building
I had the best night's sleep in the deluxe room at the front of the building, the bed was a four poster and was the comfiest hotel bed I have ever slept in (I have been to a lot as a rep!) the price for the room was amazing for the area and although it's not in the centre it was better than some in the centre as we could park the car next to the hotel.
