About This Hotel
Perched on Scarborough’s North Bay seafront, The Ramleh offers instant access to the town’s coastal atmosphere. From the moment you arrive, the panoramic sea views of the bay and Scarborough Castle greet you through the windows and across the horizon. The setting invites a relaxed seaside stay and the sense that you have the sea as your constant companion. Location and surroundings play a central role here. The property sits at 135 Queens Parade in Scarborough with the YO12 7HY postcode. Being on the seafront means you wake to blue skies above the bay and a backdrop of the castle that shapes this stretch of coast. The North Bay location is a defining feature, giving guests a sense of place that is hard to replicate elsewhere in the town. The area lends itself to gentle coastal strolls and the kind of scenery that makes a short break feel like a proper escape. Beach and pool experience come through clearly in the listing’s emphasis on sea views and the coastal ambience. While the listing does not show a pool, the big selling point is the view and the proximity to the water. Guests can enjoy quiet moments in natural light, watching the tides roll in and the shoreline change with the weather. The atmosphere here is designed to be calming and restorative, ideal for guests looking to unwind with the sound of the sea in the background. Rooms and comfort are kept intimate by the property’s size. The Ramleh operates with three rooms, keeping things personal and easy to manage. The images in the listing reveal beds, seating areas and TV and multimedia setups in the rooms, signaling practical, comfortable living spaces. With a four star rating and high guest scores, you can expect a thoughtful approach to guest comfort even in a smaller boutique setting. The emphasis is on a simple, well-presented room that serves as a peaceful base after a day spent exploring Scarborough. Food and beverage options are not detailed in the listing, which means guests should plan to rely on nearby dining options or inquire locally for meals during their stay. This is common in smaller properties where in house dining is not listed. The absence of on site dining information is balanced by the property’s strong location and the ease of exploring Scarborough’s broader food scene if that suits your plans. Family friendliness and activities are clearly addressed in the policies. The Ramleh welcomes children older than 3 years and allows up to four guests in total, making it suitable for small families or couples sharing a seaside break. There is no capacity for extra beds or cots, and the policy notes that up to two children aged 3 to 17 can stay for £5 per child per night when using existing beds. This level of clarity helps families plan ahead and set expectations for their stay. Relaxation and wellness experiences emerge from the setting as well. The emphasis on sea views and the quiet coastal atmosphere creates a natural backdrop for relaxation and downtime. Guest reviews highlight the strength of location, comfort and service, with staff scoring particularly high in the hotel evaluation. The combination of a scenic backdrop, a calm interior and responsive service contributes to a balanced stay that balances rest with light exploration of Scarborough’s shores. Entertainment, amenities and practicalities round out the picture. Free private parking is available on site and WiFi is available in some rooms at no extra charge, supporting convenient travel arrangements for guests who arrive by car or need to stay connected during their visit. Check in is from 15:00 to 21:00 and check out by 10:00, providing a flexible window for travellers with varied schedules. The property exudes a friendly, uncomplicated spirit that suits guests who value a straightforward seaside escape with dependable essentials. Who this hotel is ideal for can be distilled from its combination of location, size and policy details. The Ramleh is well suited to couples seeking a quiet base with striking sea views and easy access to Scarborough’s North Bay. It also appeals to small families or groups who appreciate a compact, personable setting and clear occupancy rules that keep expectations aligned. For travelers who prioritise on site parking, reliable WiFi, and a high level of guest satisfaction reflected in strong review scores, The Ramleh provides a confident, low fuss option right by the water. With its seafront position, panoramic outlook and a warm, efficient team, this hotel offers a charming seaside base that makes the most of Scarborough’s coastal character.
