Gedik Cave Hotel

We got an amazing stay in Gedik Cave Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always available to solve any problem and make your stay better. The breakfast is really good, and the location is super good to go to Goreme city center and to see the balloons in the morning. We got balloons going over us in the hotel terrace. I recommend this place.

Gedik is one of the few 'cave hotels' that's actually built into the rock. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Nihat is very attentive to customers and makes yeu feel at home. The location is quiet and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is excellent. This was my second time staying at Gedik and I'd choose it again.

Cute spot for families to stay, could probably eat out as breakfast has small variety of things. Hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. Cake was lovely and some things from breakfast and the Turkish tea was excellent. Loved that it was all homemade.

Absolutely loved my stay the host was amazing carried my bags all the way to the third floor helped me alot during my stay. Very safe and comfortable rooms . I travelled across Europe and needed a good place to stay to relax this place was in the heart of gorme in the center everything was walking distance.

The property was an amazing location for central Göreme. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and we had an amazing view for the balloons. Nihat and the staff went above and beyond helping us to book activities and offering recommendations. Would definitely stay here again!

I would 100% recommend this stay over the other cave hotels. Nihat and his family go the extra mile to make sure that you have a comfortable stay! Esra, who makes the breakfast is a master at her job. She puts out 8-10 fresh dishes everyday, and makes it look so easy. The food is super fresh and super yum! The location is excellent, very close to the downtown area with wonderful views of the city and of the balloons in the morning. We loved all of it and would definitely stay here if we came back to Goreme! PS - Nihat also has an absolutely adorable tiny dog Chippah, she's a well mannered sweetheart!

Gorgeous hotel with deck areas and seating on 4 levels and fabulous views. Top terrace has a roof and cushioned seating area perfect for balloon watching. Breakfast was substantial with a large range of Turkish treats. Comfortable bed, great air con and lovely staff.

The breakfast was very nice with traditional pies and freshly cooked omelet. The hotel structure with the terraces and the courtyard was really beautiful.

I absolutely loved everything about Gedik Cave Hotel. The location is perfect , just a short walk to restaurants and shops. The hotel is super clean, cozy, charming, and has a beautiful view of the town. Breakfast was served daily and was always delicious, with a great variety. A big thank you to Esra, who prepared everything with care and was always so kind. Also to Celal, who spontaneously prepared a delicious meal for us and kindly picked us up after our Turkish night show. Nihat, the manager, made us feel truly welcome and was always ready to help with anything we needed, offering great tips along the way. This place, and the people, are truly special.

We had a wonderful stay at Gedik! The hospitality provided by the manger Nihat, was superb - a huge thank you to him. A beautiful property with amazing views that’s close to the city centre but tucked away in a quiet spot. I highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Göreme.
