We were room only so only saw staff on arrival & check out - the reception staff were very pleasant. The room was comfortable, plenty of tea & coffee. The Wifi was very good. The location was ideal, so close to the city walls!

We couldn’t have wished for a better hotel so close to the centre we were helped with parking and the staff were friendly our room was lovely in the mews the bottle of Prosecco was a nice touch for the start of the stay 🥂

Location of the property was perfect - approx 15 minutes walk from York Train Station, and less than 5 minutes walk from York Minster. Received a warm welcome from staff on arrival 😁 I will definate book again 😁

Perfect location and warm welcome. Booked in order to attend a university open day, so having access to the train station within 10 mins was perfect. The room was clean and had great facilities. The breakfast was amazing and very good value for money.

It is situated well. 10 mins from railway station and the same to the centre of town. Room was clean and comfortable. Slept well. Breakfast was very good and staff were friendly and accommodating.
