North Yorkshire Horse Box

We really enjoyed the relaxed and private setting. Close to key attractions such as Flamingo Land and nearby Scarborough beach. The outdoor pools and wellness centre is a must! The location is a working farm and really does cater for all your needs. From little vending machine to a range of animals to see all part of the experience. The hosts are absolute superstars and this is was a rare find. Private shower and bathroom, with additional services if needed. Sharee was really helpful and we wpuld like to thank her for everything. We will be back. Little suggestion would be to have a little fan or two for the summer months but wasnt a problem at all as we brought our own. The positioning of the private horse box area is perfect. Nice breeze with great sun all day on the better weather days 👍. 5* for us.

We are a returning visitors, never stayed in the horse box before but it was lovely, so cossie and private. What a lovely family, always felt extremely welcomed at every stay. Will definitely be returning again :-)

The owners were delightful to deal with, so friendly, approachable and accommodating. The van was immaculate and so cosy with the fire going! This was such an adventure for our boys, they loved looking at the animals and running back and forth across the fields! The communal facilities were great, we didn’t have much need for them but we did have a wander around as we also have a tent, we would return in a heartbeat, this was such a great find and an absolute gem in a great location! The local pub did great food (recommend by Jack!) and very reasonably priced within walking distance. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely fantastic 2 days. Highly recommend this adventure with my daughter. Loved the farm and the outside vibes. The animals around were right up my daughters street. Can't wait to go back. Literally along the road from Flamingo Land which was the reason for going but our time at the horsebox far outweighed Flamingo Land.

Location and quirky glamping horse lorry were great fun, especially for a 7 year old horse fanatic granddaughter!

It was lovely! Lots of animals for the kids to see, really happy friendly place, the owners are lovely and very helpful! A short drive to flamingoland about 8mins and it’s free parking there too! Lidl not far down the road as well. Definitely be going back and recommending to family and friends 🙂

The horse box was bigger inside than what I expected. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The outside area was really nice and secluded from the camp site. The outdoor shelter with fire was really cosy and a nice touch. The animals on the farm were a real bonus and the kids loved them. They have horses, goats, geese, pigs and a Avery. The goats were let off to roam around in the afternoon and my son got to walk them. He loved it! The site is ideally situated for Flamingoland. We would like to thank you for a lovely weekend.

The whole weekend was perfect! We were really lucky with the weather but we all said it wouldn't have mattered if it was rainy as we would have had the seating area and a fire. The hosts were so friendly and kind, and we all loved the animals. We would be really happy to visit again!

Horse box was very clean with all mod cons and sheree was very helpful thr kids loved thr animals and 2 pubs just down thr road 2 min walk

Everything about this stay was exactly what we wanted I would highly recommend it. The added extra of all the cute animals and lake to walk around made it perfect. It was a peaceful comfortable stay and the owners are very friendly they give you a warm welcome when you arrive, we couldn’t fault a thing. We will be back.

I absolutely loved the location..The views were fantastic and the hosts couldn't have done more for us. The outside space was a wonderful addition which we loved.

Great location. The outdoor log burner area was fantastic. All wood/lighters etc etc provided.

A wonderful location near to a whole host of activities in the surrounding villages and landscape. Super close to Pickering while still feeling quiet and rural. The property’s animals are super cute and friendly! The horse box itself is lovely: nicely furnished and cosy.
