Ease of access to town centre and able to view balloons from terrace. Quiet.

Wow is all I can say! This was the perfect hotel for our stay in the region. Located just up a small hill from the Main Street in Goreme the hotel was perfectly located for exploring town as well as early morning pick ups (we were the last on the bus for each booking we made and the first dropped back). The gardens are absolutely stunning with flowers and fruit (apples and grapes which were edible off the vine in September). There were several terraces and relaxing areas to enjoy the garden and view, and it was always peaceful. I had the space to practice yoga on the terrace in shade or sun pending on the weather. We very much enjoyed the pool, the water was fresh and cold and there were some loungers to enjoy the sun. Breakfast was a huge spread with plenty of options: cheese, salads, olives, spreads, cookies, cakes, and fresh made items such as chips, doughnuts, French toast, pancakes, gozleme, omelettes depending on the day. We had no issues with parking during our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable - the bed and pillows were perfect. If we returned to Kapadokya I would 300% stay here again!

This hotel is everything you need for a peaceful, comfortable, and happy stay in Goreme Cappadocia. It's a beautiful place, I'd say magical, full of vegetation, flowers, and excellent service. 100% recommended. Thank you, Turkey.

Eka was fabulous and very welcoming, check in was easy check out too, sheets and towels are changed everyday, all the terraces are decorated beautifully. To sum up our experience was wonderfully wonderful. The breakfast is delicious and it is not the same everyday, it changes from a day to another.

Our family of five enjoyed staying in three cave rooms, each with its own simple yet unique style. The relaxed ambiance, highlighted by the patio’s plants and shade-giving trees, made afternoons especially pleasant. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They helped us arrange a balloon trip, a private guide to ride along in our rented van, and tickets to a Turkish dance show. They even surprised our twin girls with a delicious chocolate cake for their birthday. Truly a wonderful experience! One small tip: if you walk up the hill for the beautiful sunset views, be sure to note your exact route for the way back. The winding roads can make it easy to take a wrong turn when returning to the hotel.

The cleanliness. The atmosphere. Very instagram vibes. Night sky with bright stars and friendly bats and cats. Very friendly and nice staff.

Realising you’re pretty much tied to your hotel in Göreme, we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay! Town center is just a quick walk away - close enough so you can reach anything, but far away so it’s not noisy. Learning most of the local activities take place either in the morning or in the evening, midday relaxing at the pool was priceless! One of the viewing points of Göreme is located right above the hotel - you can enjoy pretty much the same view that other people pay for and travel to! We woke up in the mornings, and went out to either hotel balconies to watch the hot air balloons in our PJ’s. We could still have a nap afterwards before enjoying the amazing breakfast. Our host Ahmet’s support was invaluable - we took his recommendations on activities and restaurants, and he kindly arranged everything for us. All our selected activities included hotel pick-up and take back. We could even have a flying dress photoshoot on one of the hotel’s balconies - we could spare the long travel time and inconvenience, and had the same gorgeous view (if not even better). Can only recommend :)

What an amazing place. It seems to be run by a family who look after you from arrival to departure. Lots of little touches, picking fresh grapes off the vines and serving by the pool, surprise fresh fruit medley upon return, leaving the breakfast open when the kids slept in. The location of the hotel is perfect for restaurants and balloon watching. Lovely terraces.

The hotel is right in the middle of Göreme town, very short walk from the bus terminal! I arrived at 5am and the staff were very accommodating - I was able to use the rooftop courtyards and pool and got to see the hot air balloons just after I arrived! They organized for my room to be made available early and were very helpful in organizing and booking tours for me! They even made sure I got up and didn't miss my hot air balloon ride (I had slept through 3 alarms, but they came to wake me so I didn't miss my transfer! The breakfast was great with lots of options standing from sweet to savoury and a selection of tea, coffee and juices available! The room is decorated very nicely with beautiful Turkish carpets and provided towels, slippers and shower/bath products. The rooftop terrace is so beautiful with lots of plants and flowers, the rooftop viewing courtyards had lovely carpets and cushions which were great backdrops for photos and the view of the balloons from the terrace was amazing! There are lots of places to sit including cost swings, chairs and hammocks! It is a fantastic space to sit back and relax with a book or to sit around with friends and family to talk and laugh the night away! All of the souvenir shops and restaurants are walking distance, and all tours that are booked via the hotel come with pick up and drop off services!

I loved how helpful and kind the staff were. They made sure to get to know us and made us feel very welcomed in Goreme. They organized bookings for us as needed and I enjoyed all of the facilities too.

Roc of Cappadocia is a truly special hotel. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises and lovely evenings in the many outdoor common areas, which were comfortable and well set up. Our room was clean and equipped with every comfort: soaps, slippers, air conditioning, and two new bottles of water every day. The staff was always very helpful and welcoming. We'd like to give special compliments to the cook — her breakfasts were delicious and prepared with love. Every morning she made a variety of treats herself, including omelets, savory pies, French toast, and other fried and non-fried delights. Through the hotel, we were able to take part in the Red Tour and the Green Tour.
We also used the shuttle service to and from the airport: the arrival was perfect. Unfortunately, the return made us feel a bit uncomfortable — the driver (cappadocia express) arrived 10 minutes late, made us wait another 10 minutes before leaving without any apparent reason, and during the ride, he stopped twice to pick up and drop off a friend, without informing us of the detour. For €30, we expected a much better service. Aware that this issue doesn’t directly concern the hotel, we still highly recommend staying at Roc of Cappadocia.
