Guest Reviews
Excellent ! Friendly attentive host.
Great host, as it was our first visit to Bath she gave us a rundown on what things to do and places to visit, also bus routes within the area.
What a wonderful, quirky little hotel! Absolutely loved it! The owner was so lovely and really welcoming. Our room was incredible! Enormous four poster bed which was super comfy .. the decor was delightful and spotlessly clean. Beautiful bathroom with full size toiletries which was lovely. Lots of complimentary drinks and snacks which was a lovely touch. The bus stop to the city centre was just a couple of minutes walk away … the perfect location. We will definitely stay again!
The place is absolutely beautiful. We reviewed a warm welcome and useful information about the surroundings.
We booked it based on the photos cos it looked quirky & it didn’t let us down. Off-road parking was a positive. My wife was more than happy with the Tea, Biscuits & Snacks 😁
A very warm welcome. The extra touches were lovely. I.e biscuits, nuts, chocolate and toiletries. Loved the decor. Great location with a good bus service to the centre of Bath. Fish & Chip shop on hand and enjoyed a drink in the bar Friday eve. The hub with was down the road and served a good breakfast, great value for money. Louise the proprietor was very lovely , and told us all about the bus services and food locations which was very useful.
The room was very comfortable with a lovely bath. Louise had stocked the room above and beyond expectations.
Location and a very helpful owner.
The location was quiet and a bit removed from the city, but still easy to access using the local bus system. Louise, who checked us in, was super welcoming and very helpful about suggesting places of interest and things to do as well as where to find a cheap, delicious breakfast only a few minutes walk away.
It was kisch..artsy. One of those intstagrammable ones..if we were into Instagram. It was brilliant, really. and the extras.. like hot chocolate, a choc bar, peanuts, biscuits. That went beyond hospitality. We met the hostess and she was extremely kind and cheery.
Everything was great! Louise was super helpful. The room was nice, big, clean, silent and comfortable! You have a bus stop just in front of the hotel and you are in the city center in minutes. We could park there, super convinient. Totally recommended!
The decor is quirky and fun but done with taste. The hostess was very welcoming and so informative about local amenities, ie bus service, nearby Hub cafe and interesting local details.
Marvellously decorated with an individual style. Great location with reliable transport into the city centre
Opposite to bus stop to take into town. Lovely host
We liked the cute and quirky interior and exterior design. We enjoyed the lovely owner's helpful tips and warm and welcoming personality. Also the little extra touches with nibbles in the room etc...
Excellent as always
Like many other guests have said, we loved the location as it was so easy to hop on the No.2 bus opposite and be in the centre in 10-12 minutes We were greeted by Louise upon arrival, who explained all we needed to know. My husband booked this place because I'm a vintage interiors fan so he felt I would really appreciate the decor and the quirkiness of it. A lot of thought and love has gone into this place making it very warm, cosy and inviting . It felt like we were in someone's home. Plenty of snacks with tea and coffee supplies. We had breakfast at The Hub which is about a 2 minute walk. Unfortunately they were not open on our second and last day for breakfast as they were understaffed. We had plenty of choice for breakfast in the centre, so was not a huge problem.
Very unusual but we loved the decor and furnishings. Louise made us very welcome. We appreciated the extras - plenty of milk, tea, biscuits, hot chocolate and lattes. We were most comfortable. Had breakfast at The Hub, a short pleasant walk along the road. Excellent food and service.
Quaint and colourful
Amazing decor - truly original - the room was huge, with treats tucked away everywhere. The wonderful, helpful, caring proprietor, explained everything and there’s a great bus in and out of Bath, which stops opposite.
