Glynis 9.0

The staff are really helpful and friendly. Rooms are a good size and beds are comfy. The location is great. Looking forward to seeing the new reception and restaurant when the refurbishment is complete.

Galia 10.0

Courteous service, available, even for unusual requests (special food, coffee corner for the group) Everything was courteous, they even escorted my traveler to one of the nearby streets, and arranged a conference room for me in the hotel next to the activity, excellent

Aivaras 9.0

Spacious, fresh, clean room. Large enough bed and the tv with working channels. It is near the bus stop so getting to the centre is easy (especially at night), walking is also doable as it is not too far from centre. It is also near the sports swimming pool if you fancy it. The breakfast was great but in a separate building, in another hotel a couple of strides away. We were happy with the choice, no regrets whatsoever.

Schlögl 10.0

The room was very nice and clean and had everything one might need. The breakfast was fairly varied with several options of teas, breads, and fruits. The hotel staff were all extremely polite, kind, and very helpful. We were very satisfied with the hotel service and will certainly stay here again on our next visit to Edinburgh.

Location was perfect for visiting the university, close to halls and great access to the bus network, I also really liked the toiletries and the tea/coffee

Glynis 9.0

Staff, very friendly, size of the rooms.

Tim 10.0

We loved the location for access into the Royal Mile. A quick bus ride and you're in the heart of Edinburgh. The room itself was very well kept. It was comfortable, clean and roomy. The staff was friendly and exceptionally helpful. We were able to leave our luggage prior to and after our stay. Also, there is close parking on site.

Kyle 10.0

Very contemporary, clean, professional. The standout thing for us was the location but the staff and management made it extra special. Even under renovation it was very nice and we loved listening to the birds in the garden every morning. The insect hotel got a great reaction from me as a permaculturist.

Mika 9.0

Service was great, breakfast was neatly done and very well managed, the rooms and beds were heavenly after having camped out In a tent for 2 weeks.

Denys 9.0

Really comfortable

The hotel is about 20 min walk to Princess street, pretty close to Arthur's seat. It doesn't look great from the outside but the room was just like in the photos. The breakfast has vegan and vegetarian options, which is a plus, but it doesn't have vegetables except for baked tomatoes. I would have liked more vegetables. We also ate lunch at the hotel one day and it was excellent. All in all is a good hotel but the price of almost 400 gbp per night doesn't reflect the amenities and location in my opinion but we were there during the Fringe Festival and everything was in this price range or even more expensive.
