The staff are so friendly and welcoming, there are plenty of areas to hangout and meet new people, the kitchen is one of the biggest and best stocked (equipment wise) that I have encountered in my time hostel hopping and I feel safe here. Will be coming back everytime i'm in york :D

The staff and “vibe” were so positive! The kitchen is huge and immaculate; the location is very convenient for bus and train travel. Our single room was immaculate and very quiet. The other travelers were great conversationalists. There were plenty of varied hang out spaces and games from which to choose.
