Boutique Balloon Ride over Göreme National Park

Cappadocia has dozens of balloon companies, and some travellers prefer a smaller team that pays personal attention rather than a large operation. This boutique balloon ride carries you over the valleys of Göreme National Park at sunrise, in a calmer atmosphere from pickup to landing.

How the morning goes

After booking you send the team your accommodation details, and they collect you from your hotel in the Cappadocia region by air-conditioned vehicle. At the launch site a light breakfast with tea or coffee is served while you watch the balloon being prepared for take-off.

Flying over Göreme

Lifting off with the first light, the balloon drifts with the wind over the valleys, fairy chimneys and rock settlements of Göreme National Park. After landing you receive your flight certificate and are taken back to your hotel.

Important information

A valid passport is needed for insurance registration before the flight, so keep it with you. Pickup is only from hotels in the Cappadocia region; the airport and places outside the region are not covered. The flight is not recommended for travellers with spinal injuries, poor cardiovascular health or pregnant travellers, and every flight depends on the weather and Civil Aviation permission.

Practical tips

Dress in layers for the cool morning and wear flat shoes. Space in the basket is limited, so a small bag is enough. If you are staying several nights in Cappadocia, booking the first morning gives you another chance if the weather cancels the flight.
