The house has been beautifully decorated with comfortable rooms and a very pleasant ambience. The staff are exceptionally helpful, not only helping by phone when checking in but also having staff on site for breakfast, which was very well organised and enjoyable. The proprietor did not hesitate to visit when needed to solve a minor problem. Free parking was also available at the rear of the property.

The staff were really nice. Again, I'm sorry I scared you early in the morning while leaving. The hotel's position is central, just a 10 minutes walk from the Minster and the Shambles. Definitely a plus the garden with a tables and chairs and a backdoor entrance.

Beautiful spacious room for 3 people. The beds were amongst the most comfortable I’ve slept in and l am a regular traveler. Spotlessly clean. Large car park extremely close: £10 per night which is amazing family. The hosts were very accommodating, very helpful and it was a pleasure to stay with you. Thank you Natasha

Such a beautiful place to stay! Beautiful, comfy and in a very good position (a quiet street next to York Center). The staff is incredibly nice. I was on holiday with my dad, he doesn't speak English, and they managed to make him engaged in conversations about keys, breakfast, check out etc. The room is small, buh it' ok for a short holiday with family or friends. Very clean and very comfortable. We were on the top floor so the view felt open over the houses opposite (even though the trees in their back gardens meant you couldnt see that far). Short walk to the city centre and to the river and the station. Although we didn't have breakfast this time, it smelt lovely!

The breakfast was very good. The very kind housekeeper recommended we walk to town via a footpath leading through the ancient abbey ruins, and this was awesome! The house was very quiet at night. :)
